The Research Area on Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality was founded in 2004 as a bet of the Castilla-Leon Institute of Technology by new technologies for industry, education, wealth, health, ...

The area currently consists on 7 persons which has done or are doing, since its creation an European research project, 5 national and two regional projects. These projects have enhanced the experience and knowledge of the area to be able to deal with projects of higher technical complexity.

The projects developed so far deep into the following areas:

  • Virtual Reality.
  • Augmented Reality or Mixed Reality.
  • Computer graphics.
  • Motion Capture in Real Time (Mocap).
  • Simulators.
