ITCL has extensive experience in the development of virtual reality projects, with its own fully-equipped laboratory. We undertake a range of projects, including real-time motion capture, stereoscopy, tracking, vehicle simulators, video games, virtual visits, 3D scanning etc...
Virtual reality allows us to create fully-immersive virtual environments in order to be able to experiment, train, test or check any type of environment, real or otherwise. ITCL’s main areas of work are orientated towards their application in an industrial context.

This allows us to simulate production processes with real operators, offering notable advantages, including: |

El proyecto establecerá una metodología para aplicar el“Simulador Escalable” a 3 Procesos Claramente Definidos: Robotica/Cnc, Plásticos, Rapid Prototyping.

Through the use of simulated immersive 3D virtual environments, the floor layout of a new facility can be checked, as can visibility conditions, or the entire floor of a manufacturing plant, including its production lines and other operations, before it is built. |
|
This same technology also allows a product to be depicted in 3D, offering a sensation of depth thanks to stereo screens. In a single location, a whole series of prototypes and products can be viewed together.

The Reconstruction of Historical Heritage

The reconstruction of historical heritage is another application in which ITCL employs virtual reality. As a demonstration piece for the Industrial Exhibition held at the University of Burgos we prepared a 3D virtual visit to the Santo Domingo de Silos Monastery near Burgos. |
|
Visitors to the exhibition were able “walk around” the monastery thanks to a motion capture system worn on the head and a stereoscopic virtual reality helmet.
